WHAT IS CAROB & IS IT GOOD FOR MY DOG?
As we all know, chocolate is extremely dangerous for dogs, even the smallest amounts. Carob is not chocolate, it is a natural alternative that is completely safe to give to the chocoho-lick canine.
Carob contains none of the dangerous ingredients found in the cocoa bean, such as cocoa and caffeine. In fact, it's actually good for dogs! Carob is a tree-grown fruit that is grown in the Middle East,producing a long pod which is ground into powder. It contains a high amount of calcium,phosphorus,magnesium, silicon,iron and is plentiful in trace minerals.It is also a good source of B vitamins,thiamin riboflavin and niacin.It is approximately 7% protein and has a very small amount of fat.
HOW MANY TREATS CAN MY DOG HAVE IN 1 DAY?
Even though our dog treats are packed with nutritious &
healthy human grade ingredients, feeding them too much of
a good thing can lead to an upset tummy. This is why we ask
you to please introduce these treats (any treat) to your dog gradually. Do not exceed more than 3-5 treats per day for large dogs (50lbs & up), and no more than 2-3 treats per day for small dogs (49lbs & under). If you are unsure if your dog can consume a certain ingredient due to possible allergies, please speak with your veterinarian first.
Be a good parent...our dog treats are like candy to a child. If you wouldn't feed your child excessive amounts of candy, then don't feed your dog excessive amounts of treats!
HOW LONG WILL MY TREATS STAY FRESH FOR?
ALL our cookies are shipped in a vacuum sealed bag to guarantee their maximum freshness. Our pre-baked cookies may be stored in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 8 months.
When taking your pets treats out of the freezer, store them in an OPEN container. Do not store your treats in a sealed container, as this can cause premature molding. If stored correctly, your treats will stay fresh for up to 4 months on your shelf...but I have a feeling they won't be around that long...
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
Your cookies will be mailed out approximately 3-5 days after your payment has been received and cleared. (Please allow an additional 3-4 days for larger orders) All orders are mailed out via airmail and can take anywhere from 4-6 business days for delivery.
